3.

My pinkie finger and my ring finger on my left hand keep falling asleep. They've been doing this for probably a month now..

I went skinny dipping in the river up in Wissahickon today
. It was great.

My ears are still ringing from Tommy+Brendan+Brenden's show last night.

I found Leigh (my manager at Cosi) and Megan (the newest one) in a closet at work last night.. Yes, THAT kind of "found." I got to leave early :)

I feel sorry for Muhka, because I've got to go to work now and I don't think she's been outside all day.

Whelps!

Bike polo..

.. is so much fun!

So is Muhka; we went on a long, 4 hour walk to Rittenhouse and Tanney park yesterday. She's sitting to my left right now, with her legs all sprawled and her h
ead on my thigh. Her ear is on the keypad, but just a few seconds ago it was her tongue. She's all about licking typing fingers.

Oh- back to bike polo.. I just "finished" building up the bike: it's my old Sekai track conversion frame that I slabbed a brake and a lower chain ring on. It's pretty great, but not for getting around. It's just great for getting around the polo court. If you've never heard of bike polo, it's just how it sounds: three players on a team, riding bikes (instead of horses) with polo mallets, trying to hit a little rubber ball in between two cones, respectively. So much fun. I went to the court on Front and Washington blvd last night for the first time. They play on a roller hockey c
ourt instead of the pavement at 23rd and Spruce. Also, they aren't all drunk and fist fights don't sporadically break out every week. Which isn't so bad, but it gets old quite quickly (to me, at least).

So that was last night. Tonight and the following four nights I have to work.. at Cosi.. barf.
I am in desperate need of a top tube pad and new black pants. Completely related. You see, the cable mounts on my top tube keep ripping my pants, annnnd it
happened when I was wearing my black pants for work.

Ah, c'est la vie. I've got 17 days left in this town. I'm going to miss some people when I leave, though.. I'll miss 'em lots.

1.

I'm a Bum.

I think I've been online for two and a half hours now.. uploading my flickr account, chatting to hot babes online, watching Family Guy, asking google questions things I've always wanted to know.. like "Why are cows considered sacred?" and "Why does your hand prune in bathtubs?" and "How do you build a ramp to jump jet skis?"

Anyways, these past couple of weeks make me realize how much I miss three major things: my dog, swimming holes, and adventures.

There's this dog named Muhka I've been living with in my "new home"
at 37th and Spring Garden, and she's absolutely fantastic. Not my beagle Joy, but a fantastic dog nevertheless:

Also- Swimming. Love it, need more of it. I've been going to the Wissahickon whenever I find the time, err- the motivation to ride 16 miles, which really isn't bad at all. The problem is is that I can't stand the gross humidity... also, a friend that would come with would be nice.

Adventures! Myself and some friends ventured under the South St. bridge Monday, and boy was it a world of its own! Big 'ol gears, rusted stairways, beer bottles, graffiti, dead bodies- just kidding! Sneaking into places where you aren't supposed to be is especially exciting won't you agree?

Hooray for the western half of Philly's skyline!
Hooray for the underbellies of old drawbridges soon to be torn down!
This is going to be an exciting summer: road trip, Costa Rica, and lots of free time to bum around.

Oh- and I'm expecting to come down with a cold soon. If I don't, I could quite possibly have bragging rights for my little guy of an immune system.
